Editing via iPad or with MIDI

I like to use my i2M with my iPad (it's great with the KORG iMS-20.) However, when I need to change a setting, I have to disconnect and reconnect to my Mac to use the editing application. Is it possible to use a MIDI controller to change the settings (I use the Behringer BCR2000, which is GREAT by the way.) I thought it would be very cool to program the BCR200 the change the settings on the i2M. Or at least have an iPad version of the editing application. Possible?

With the latest version of the i2M musicport software, you can change the preset via MIDI program change but the i2M musicport doesn't currently support changing other parameters via MIDI though it is something we could consider.

For an iPad app, Apple currently doesn't allow programmers access to the USB interface that we use to control the i2M musicport so we'd have to use MIDI.
