Can I use the G2M with a bass guitar?

I am looking for a midi interface for my bass guitar. Can I use the G2M with a bass guitar?

Although the G2M will work with a bass guitar, it doesn't support the lowest octave (i.e., below E2), so it only really works for the higher notes (those in the range of a normal guitar). Even so, we have some users that do play bass and still find the G2M very useful.

My advise to bass players if they want good to use the full range of their instrument, is to watch this space...

I'm a bassist and would love to be able to use my bass for Midi. I'm seriously considering getting the G2M but I don't want to get one if there's a new version out soon!?.....
