Hi
FYI if anyone is interested I have posted a short clip of me using my Fender Tele to compose a simple 4 part song on my iPad mini through GarageBand with my I2M
It's at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfwhWvA6pH0&sns=em
The I2M drives the audio and then I lay down a Bass and Lead part in midi
Some iPad synths work really well with the I2M and some not so good. Maybe it's down to the way the synth responds to midi input. GarageBand, Sunrizer, Nanostudio, Korg IMS-20 and Animoog are brilliant! You really feel you are playing the voice.
N-log Pro and Music Studio on the other hand have latency for me.

Thanks for sharing. It's a very good video and shows just how easy it can be!
As you have found, some synths work better than others. Also, some sounds will seem to respond better than others even on the same synth. I find the best sounds are those that respond well to velocity and pitch-bend, then you can really impart feeling into it from the guitar.
I've posted a link to your video on our Facebook page.

I heard that GarageBand is free, but they are not listed as free on the App Store. I have a reasonable latest iPad, consider downloading GarageBand.
