Are there any suggestions for setting up your guitar to ensure proper note tracking? ie pickup selection, tone adjustment, playing style, plectrum used, etc.
Note: I'm using the Line 6 Mobile In dock connector interface. It works much better than the iRig connector through heaphone jack.
Btw, I'm getting way better results then I'd imagine. I use the You Rock Guitar midi guitar and will do so for bigger projects and when I want to play chords but this is a great quick solution for playing single note lead lines more expressively. Great tracking on those pitch bends/vibrato!
Guitar setup tips?
Re: Guitar setup tips?
Glad you like the app!
Some tips are available here:

But there is also something similar in the app help (look under "Tips"). In short: neck-pickup, turn down tone (both of these reduce overtones which can help), and play cleanly.

Thanks James. Since posting, I also saw that Buzznut device and actually have been experimenting with my own diy version.
