Brand new Wahoo. Firmware 1.0.02
I can't seem to select presets using the footswitch and footpedal. I am following the steps correctly,entering preset mode, but nothing changes when I toe down the footpedal (for 2 secs): the footswitch does not flash. Any suggestions.
Is my unit faulty? Or am I missing something?

To enter foot-operated preset select mode, you press the footswitch (not the pedal) for 2s. At this point, the main LED should flash to indicate you are in foot-operated mode.
Footswitch select mode can be disabled, and the time you need to hold the footswitch can also be changed. So check what is setup here:
Got to custom settings (press the MODE knob for 2s), use up/down to get to the "FS.t" option (set this to a 4). This is the "footswitch enable time" if "off" the feature is disabled, the numbers represent the number of half-seconds you need to hold it, so 4 = 2s.
Also, if you update to the latest firmware there is another options on how you can use footswitch select mode (more details in the downloadable pdf manual for the latest firmware).
