Device Stopped working after 15 minutes

Hey there,
I received my B2M today and tested it out on a couple of different synthesisers/keyboards during which time it worked fine. I decided to then change the battery (because the one in it had the best used by date of 11-2011) after which it stopped working entirely, even after switching the battery back again. Has anyone else had this issue? If so any fix?
