behringer neutron not working

The Sonuus G2M doesn´t power on when I plug it to the Midi in of the behringer neutron 
. Strangely, it does power on if the midi cable is connected to the midi thru of the behringer neutron. I am plugging my guitar to the G2M and that to the synth. The G2M is plugged to a 9V.
Does anyone have any idea why this is not working
