What MIDI interface are you using with Cakewalk?

LOGILINK MIDI TO USB
Re: MUSIC CREATOR 4
When using the G2M, does the MIDI light flicker as you play notes on the guitar? Looking at the Logilink cable it would also appear to have some activity LEDs - do these indicate any MIDI activity? Have you tried the cable with say a MIDI keyboard (if you have one) ?

The IN light flashes when notes are played but nothing from the OUT light.
Re: MUSIC CREATOR 4
OK. That sounds as I'd expect. If the MIDI light on the G2M is flashing and the IN light on your USB MIDI cable is also flashing, this shows that MIDI is being received from the G2M so it sounds like the problem is somewhere between the USB MIDI device and your software. I'm not familiar with the particular software package you're using but I'd expect there is some way to select your USB MIDI cable as a MIDI input source.

Is there software -not expensive - that you know works with this unit ?
Re: MUSIC CREATOR 4
I looked at the specification for Music Creator 4 and it looks like it supports MIDI I/O. If you can get your USB MIDI cable to work with Music Creator, I can't see any reason why the G2M wouldn't work with it.
