Musicport 1.3.02 OSX note extend bug

Post by gtrmidi »

Hi,
with Musicport 1.3.02 (OSX 10.8.1) after entering a number in the note extend field, it always returns to "OFF".
In version 1.2.00 it works just fine.
Other than that, great little product.
Cheers, Alex

Hmmm, indeed.

We did some changes to note-extend, and it was working. I think another change we made may have broken it. We'll look at it ASAP.

OK, we've made the fix and it can be download from the usual place (http://www.sonuus.com/software.html).

The Desktop Editor is now at version 1.3.03.

Thanks for reporting it, so we could fix it.

This bug has been fixed. But the number is quantised in steps of 4ms. If you enter a number less than 4, it will round-down to 0, and show OFF. Could this be what you are seeing?

It happens for any number I enter. I first was trying to put in 32, and then tried several other values, by fours. The same thing always happens~ when I unplug the i2m from the computer, and then go back, the field is reset to 'OFF'. If I save the file first onto the PC and reload it, the state of the field is saved as 'OFF'. If I turn on the 'Sus' button (without a sus pedal hooked up), notes get extended by about a second for some reason, but that is far longer than I need.

Sorry, you are correct.

You CAN change the value in the editor, but the value is not being saved so when you reconnect the i2M, the value is lost. We will look into this.

Meanwhile, if you set the value while the i2M is connected, it should work.

Works like a charm! Thank you James!

I'm using the i2m into a Kenton Host so I can control a Moog Sub Phatty with my bass. The note extend allows me to play the synth legato and get it to glide~ which sounds amazing!
