Latest i2M musicport features in 1.2.00:
- Latency Test mode to help you debug audio latency problems on your computer setup.
- Note Extend to allow gapless transitions between notes, even if your playing includes gaps.
- Allow any MIDI controller to be used for the breath controller output.
- Modes (presets) can now be changed by MIDI program change.
- A velocity filter has been added to reject low-level notes, to reduce glitches.

i2M musicport Desktop Editor Software
The Sonuus i2M musicport is a very fast, low-latency, monophonic
MIDI
converter for use with all musical instruments. It also features a
high-impedance USB audio interface so you can directly connect your
musical instrument to your computer with ease.
The MIDI converter architecture is very flexible and powerful. To enable you to make full use of this, we have provided a Desktop Editor Software application that runs on both Microsoft Windows and Apple OSX. You can run this beside your other audio applications to give you quick and simple access to any configuration parameters you want to adjust on the i2M musicport.
i2M musicport ASIO driver
On Windows operating systems, ASIO drivers provide you with the lowest latency for audio devices. Most professional audio applications support ASIO.
The i2M musicport ASIO driver provides you with low-latency audio input, and also features the unique ability to use any other audio device (even other ASIO devices) as the output audio device so you can hear everything you do in real time. The ASIO driver essentially binds together two audio devices so they appear as one ASIO device in your software, making it simpler and easier to get high-quality, low-latency audio.
Note that the ASIO driver does not affect the i2M musicport MIDI
function, which always has low-latency.
Sonuus Firmware Updater
The
Sonuus Firmware Updater application lets you upgrade the firmware of
your Sonuus product quickly, easily and safely. Note that only products
with a USB connection can have their firmware upgraded.
