[19-22 January 2012] See our new product at The NAMM Show Booth 5990 Hall B

We will be introducing the latest Sonuus product, the Wahoo, (and demoing existing products) at The NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, USA, with our US distributor Peterson Electro-Musical Products, Inc. The Wahoo is very exciting for us, and we think it will be exciting to many musicians. We started releaing snippets about the Wahoo on  our facebook page but have now revealed all. It's a pure analogue, dual-filter stomp box for guitar and bass -- a filter pedal, but like no other!

Visit Booth 5990 Hall B to try the Wahoo first-hand.

We are keen to talk to new distributors covering regions for which we don't yet have distribution.

Marillion's tour details can be found here: http://www.marillion.com/tour/index.htm

[11 September 2011] Sonuus endorses DESTRAGE

Sonuus are pround to announce the endorsement of Milan-based band DESTRAGE. They have also put together a great new video for us. You can see it here i2M musicport with Garage Band.

Here's what they say about the i2M musicport:

"This amusing little device is just perfect for arranging, recording and even writing midi partitures directly fron your instrument on your computer, whether you are settled in your studio, on the fly or sitting in the back of a tour bus.

Just plug your guitar, open up a sequencer, apply  some plugins and play your music, note down your new ideas directly in tracks while you are recording, and change the way they sound as you wish.

Sonuus i2M sends audio and midi signals together to your computer. You won't need any power plug, protools hardwares or other complications. Infact you'd never need to write down midi partitures using your keyboard and mouse again."

[20 June 2011] Sonuus endorses Simone Vignola

Sonuus are pround to announce the endorsement of bassist Simone Vignola. Only 23 years of age, Simone has received great acclaim for his live-looping solo performances, including opening for Level 42 on their recent Italian tour.

  • Note velocity and breath controller can have a curves applied to them.

The Sonuus Firmware Updater has also been updated to version 1.0.02, to fix a few small bugs. We recommend you use this new version to install this new firmware update.

[9 May 2011] Ablerto Rigoni's Rebirth

Sonuus endorsee Alberto Rigoni has completed a new album, Rebirth. Alberto used the Sonuus B2M for composition and for scoring this album.

Rebirth shows an extreme variety of tunes, some with voice and some instrumental. It's a union of experimental research blended with a solid backbone of melody. Music lovers around the world will want to witness his elegant simplicity to bring the bass instrument to the forefront without losing the rhythm and foundation of the music. Featuring guest musicians including Gavin Harrison, Michael Manring, Yves Carbonne and many others.

[30 April 2011] 64-bit ASIO driver for i2M musicport

A 64-bit version of the i2M musicport ASIO driver is now available from the software pages.

The 64-bit ASIO driver is only required if your application (DAW) is a 64-bit application. If you are using a 32-bit application on 64-bit Windows, you still need to use the 32-bit ASIO driver. It is therefore recommended that users of 64-bit Operating Systems install both the 32-bit and 64-bit ASIO drivers so it can support all applications.

[30 April 2011] Firmware Updater 1.0.01

A minor update has been released for the Windows version of the Sonuus Firmware Updater. It is now available from the software pages.

There is a problem in Windows when a HID device (which is what the i2M musicport appears as in update mode) is connected for the first time: the device appears briefly then disappears. This cause the udpater problems because it detects the device and starts to update, then the device is "unplugged" by the OS. So the update fails. This new version works around this problem to ensure the firmware is updated correctly, even if the operating system "disconnects" the device part-way through the update.

We recommend you get this latest update if you are using Windows (the OSX version has not been updated; this problems was restricted to the Windows platform).

[8 November 2010] Sonuus endorses Yorkie

Sonuus are proud to announce the endorsement of Yorkie, former member of Liverpool Indie giants SPACE (Neighbourhood, Female Of The Species, Avenging Angels), and now working on the Mongoose project.

Yorkie started using the Sonuus B2M to allow his studio projects to be taken to the stage without over-reliance on keyboads.

"As a bassist, I found the B2M gave me all of the control I needed over my soft synths, without having to play a keyboard. I now happily play a Moog, Cello, Synth & even Melodica with my usual trusty old bass.

The G2M gives us the ability to layer and warp already warped guitars by adding synth/string textures to the sound.

The latency is non-existant and MOONGOOSE would highly recommend both of these wonderful units."
